DOLLY FAYE LEACH Dolly Faye LEACH, Corning, was born in Elsinore, MO, Sept. 24, 1924 to Saul and Melissa (NISWONGER) ELLIOTT. She died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007. She was 82. A homemaker and member of House of Prayer. On June 6, 1942 she married Ira Leach who preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors are five sons, Bob LEACH, Jack LEACH, Harold LEACH, Ronnie LEACH and Dennis LEACH all of Corning; five daughters, Louise THACKSTON, Hernando, MS, Geraldine BERRY, Maynard, Bonnie OGDEN and Mary DAVIS both of Corning, Ann CLARK, Tonawonda, NY; one stepdaughter June DODD, Doniphan, MO; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters Dealie CROOK, Poplar Bluff, MO, and Elizabeth Jane BARTON, St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two stepsons Weldon and Babe LEACH; one stepdaughter Laura ESCHENBRENNER; one granddaughter Shellie; two brothers Marvin ELLIOTT and Willie ELLIOTT; one sister Pearl HORNE. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy McMASTERS officiating. Burial in Corning Cemetery. VIOLA STOUD Viola STROUD of Peach Orchard, was born on Oct. 1, 1926. She died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine HOLLY of Rogers, Mary STROUD of Saint Peters, MO; two sons Jerry STROUD of St. Charles, MO and Odis STROUD f Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and one son Richard M. STROUD, Jr. Services were conducted in Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007. (Visit Viola STROUD/KERSEY web site at MEM.com) ILA MOORE Ila MOORE was born in Pitman, Oct. 21, 1919, daughter of Robert and India (HARRIS) REEVES. She died in Campbell Nursing Home, Campbell, MO. Aug. 12, 2007. She was 87. She is survived by two sons, Don (Peggy) MOORE, Poplar Bluff, MO and Bob (Sharon) MOORE, Malden, MO; one sister Edna (Warren) WARD, West Plains, MO, 7 grandchildren, Rhonda, Brenda, Melinda, Shautae, Pete, Kelly, and Ronnie; 12 great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Brandi, Ashley, Nick, Jonathan, Hayden, Haley, Harley, Tanner, Courtney, Hunter and Madison; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Ryder, Tanner, Sierra and Raina. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter Alma WOOD (Feb. 18, 2004); one granddaughter Debbie FARIES (Jan. 8, 2004); two brothers Cleden REEVES and Graden REEVES; one sister Alma FORREST. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 in Corning Cemetery with Carl McKINNEY officiating. Burial under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. DOROTHY VAN GILDER Dorothy Van Gilder (HOUSEHOLDER) went to be with the Lord Aug. 13, 2007. She was born May 1, 1927 to Nora and Buck HOUSEHOLDER in Corning. She loved music and won the contest for Seniors at the Church of God Campgrounds in Benton in 2006 singing "Satisfied" and playing the spoons. She taught her children how to sing and grandchildren loved to hear her play those spoons! She loved to watch the Gaithers on Saturday nights because most of her favorite singers would be on there and a lot of them had gone on to be with the Lord and now she's up there in Heaven singing with all of them and I would probably say the first one she wanted to sing would be "Walking UP the Kings Highway" with Vestal GOODMAN. She was preceded in death by three sons Jerry OUSNAMER, Danny OUSNAMER, David MORGAN; one sister Velma ROWE. She is survived by six daughters Linda LANCASTER of Clarksville, TN, Judy PHELAN and Cathy KELLETT both of Corning, Sharon GRAY (Rocky GRAY) of Lonoke, Theresa SIKES (Don SIKES) of Maynard, Annette DAVIS (Bobby DAVIS) of Ward; two sons Ronnie OUSNAMER of Granite City, IL, Mark MOORE (Rose MOORE) of Sparks, NV; two sisters, Glenda DRUMOND of Florida, Shirley ODEN of Illinois; one half sister, Loretta HOUSEHOLD of Arkansas; three brothers, Leroy HOUSEHOLDER of Illinois, James HOUSEHOLDER of Arkansas and Donnie HOUSEHOLDER; two half brothers Nathan HOUSEHOLDER and Norman HOUSEHOLDER both of Arkansas; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and many step grandchildren; lots of family and friends who loved her so much. We will miss our mother so much and we want to thank eveyone from Baptist Hospice, everyone who sent cards and came by to visit and bring mom's favorite foods. Come help us celebrate our mother's life wit a home going!!
