He died in Shepherd of the Hills Nursing Facility, Kendallville, IN., after a lingering illness, Saturday, July 29, 2007. He was 95 years of age. He married Virginia (CHANDLER) MEYER, December 1938. She preceded him in death in 1986. He farmed in Butler, IN. for many years. He was a musician and loved to entertain others with musical talent. He is survived by two sons, Lynn MEYER, Kendallville, IN. and Bill MEYER, Noblesville, IN.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret ELLIOTT, Corning and Grace BUNCICH, Crown Point, IN.; one brother, Donald MEYER, Mishawaka, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, baby Adrian and Robert MEYER of New Philadelphia, OH; one sister, Jund DADO, Whiting, IN.; maternal and paternal grandparents. HULEN TRIBBLE Hulen Eugene TRIBBLE was born in Randolph County, December 16, 1932, son of William Eugene and Annie Irene (DAVIS) TRIBBLE. He died in Arkansas Methodist Hospital, Sunday, August 3, 2007. He was 74. A businessman in downtown Corning for many years operating a shoe store before moving his business to Memphis, he married the former Betty Irene TAYLOR. She preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors are one son, Jim TRIBBLE, Memphis, TN; one daughter, Debbie YOUNG, Corning; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Lowell TRIBBLE, Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home, Pocahontas, Thursday, August9, 2007. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am Thursday in McNabb Funeral Home. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Pocahontas. ELLA HOLLAND Ella TALKINGTON HOLLAND, a resident of Oak Dale Care Center, Poplar Bluff formerly of Corning, was born in Neelyville, August 16, 1912, daughter of Luther and Iva Lee (SNYDER) GLASS. She died in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, August 2, 2007. She was 94. A restaurant owner, she married Robert TALKINGTON, January 16, 1935. He preceded her in death June 6, 1972. October 15, 1976 she married Vernon HOLLAND who died January 22, 1994. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Jim TALKINGTON, Poplar Bluff, MO and Jerry TALKINGTON, Auburn, AL; one step-son, Marvin Lee HOLLAND, Corning; one step-daughter Sue LEACH, Corning; five grandsons Scott, Wade, Todd, Jeff and Michael TALKINGTON; one grand-daughter Mitzi TALKINGTON WILSON; nine great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son Robert TALKINGTON, Jr.; three brothers, John GLASS, Luther Mac GLASS and Carl GLASS; three sisters, Pearl RUFF, Bertha BROWN, Thelma LONG. She died in her home Wednesday, August 1, 2007. She was 82. An employee of the former Clayton Shoe Co., she was a member of Old Reyno Baptist Church. December 24, 1947 she married Arvile MARCH who preceded her in death March 12, 1993. Survivors include three sons, James MARCH, Kenneth W. MARCH, both of Reyno and Rettis MARCH of Corning; three daughters, Loretta KENNY, Paris, TN, Patsy ESTER, East Prairie, MO. and Sharon TODD, Middleton, TN; two brothers, Earl HAGER, Pocahontas and Meryl HAGAR, St. Louis; three sisters, Vida HURST, Reyno, Rita WATTS, Tennessee and Joyce EDDINGTON, Reyno; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son Earnest Ray MARCH and two brothers, Cleo and Cyril HAGAR. JAMES "FROG" MOORE James Arland "Frog" MOORE, Corning, was born December 23, 1920 in Warm Springs to Mont and Lilly MOORE. He died in John J. PERSHING VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO, August 1, 2007. He was 86. A farmer and Army veteran of WW II, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene MOORE, his parents and one grandchild. Survivors are three sons, Bennie MOORE and Lee MOORE both of Corning and Randy MOORE, Jacksonville; five daughters, Glenda EARNEST and Joyce MASSEY both of Corning, Janice STEWART, Louisville, TN, Ina WITTENMYER, Greenwood, MS, Twylia HUTCHINSON, Talbott, TN; five brothers, Wayne MOORE, Glen MOORE, Ferman MOORE all of Arkansas, Jimmy MOORE, Kansas and Leroy MOORE, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
