Dear List, While cleaning out a closet today, I found an old spelling book entitled, "SPELLING GOALS - Seven". On the inside cover, it showed the following: School: Austin; District: Piggott; District No. 52; Race: W; County: Clay; and Book No. 33. The following people had used the book: Tommy Spear - Apparently 1950 when it was new Alma Latimer - 1951 - 1952 Barbara Orr - 1953 - 1954 - Barbara is my second cousin There were a couple of other names but it appeared they had been erased. Inside the book, there was a folded piece of what we used to call "tablet paper". It belonged to "ROBERTA CLEMENTS" - she had done three colums of 2's and 3's multiplication. I would love to return the paper to her if anyone knows who she is and where she lives. Needless to say, the paper is getting brittle but is still in good conditon. Thanks for your assistance.
