He died in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro, October 29, 2006. He was 71. August 30, 1952 he married the former Vida Elizabeth HURT. A member of Mill House General Baptist Church, he was a carpenter by trade. Survivors are two sons, Vondel (Sherry) TAYLOR, Corning, Shawn (Tiffany) TAYLOR, Corning; one daughter, Vicky (Eddie) GUTHERY, Dallas, TX; two brothers, Bill TAYLOR, Corning and John TAYLOR, Corning; six grandchildren, Matt, Ryan and Hunter TAYLOR, Jeremy ROOFE, Chris ROOFE and Leah LANDRETH; seven great-grandchildren, Montana TAYLOR, Trever ROOFE, Alexis TAYLOR, Taylor LANDRETH and Allison LANDRETH. MILDRED CARMICKLE Mildred Pauline KIMBLE CARMICKLE, Valdosta, GA, formerly of the Corning area, was born January 28, 1930 to Frank and Anna Mae HARRIS KIMBLE. She died in South Georgia Medical Center, October 26, 2006. She was 76. A retired waitress and affiliated with Church of Christ, she married Charles E. CARMICKLE,Sr. who died July 24, 2005. Graveside services were conducted at Corning Cemetery Sunday, October 29, 2006 with Minister Charlie THOMPSON officiating. Survivors are one son, Charles E. "Hank" CARMICKLE,Jr., Valdosta, GA; one daughter, Vonna K. WACKLERLY, Detroit, MI; three brothers, Glenn KIMBLE, Conway, Mickey KIMBLE, Jonesboro and Ronnie KIMBLE, Corning. Two sisters, Oliven FANN, Corning and Latoya LILES, Godfrey, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother, Milford KIMBLE. JAMES MACKINTOSH James MACKINTOSH was born November 20, 1934 to William Arvel MACKINTOSH and Flora Mae JENKIN GARRISON. He died in Meadows Health and Rehab Friday, October 27, 2006. He was 71. He was a farmer. He is survived by his children: daughter, Rose MACKINTOSH FOREMAN, Cash, son Johnnie Edward MACKINTOSH, Arkansas, son John Curtis MACKINTOSH, Illinois, daughter, Angel MACKINTOSH; one sister Ann LANE, Knobel. He was preceded in death by his parents William MACKINTOSH and Flora GARRISON. Memorial service will be held at a later date. LOVIE LEONA MATHENY Lovie Leona MATHENY, Moberly, MO, formerly of the Naylor area, was born in Naylor to Noah Herman and Edith Edna TUBB LEROUX, July 28, 1926 and died in Boone County Memorial Hospital, Columbia, MO, Monday, October, 23, 2006. She was 80 years old. She was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Moberly and lifelong member of Naylor Pentecostal Church. On August 21, 1951 she married Samuel MATHENY in St. Louis. She enjoyed needlework, quilting, her church and grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Noah MATHENY, Moberly, MO; one daughter, Sharon (Mike) HAYS, Corning; two sisters, Loretta Maxine DONNELL, Wichita, KS and Shirley Fern CAPERTON, Naylor; two brothers, Rev. OLLIE DENTON Ollie DENTON, Reyno, was born August 11, 1913 in Myrtle, MO to George and Nancy VANZANT FORD. She died November 1, 2006 in Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab at the age of 93. A member of Old Reyno Free Will Baptist Church, on February 19, 1935, she married Harry DENTON who died October 28, 1985. Survivors are two sons, Donald DENTON, Biggers and Jimmy DENTON, Reyno; one daughter, Betty CRUMP, Reyno; one sister, Amy SUTTON, Wentzville, MO; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nancy FORD; three brothers, James "Boss" FORD, Cecil FORD and Tom FORD; three sisters, Ellen BAXTOR, Edith FORD and Pauline LANDS. WAYNE LEONARD Wayne LEONARD was born in Reyno May 26, 1921 to John Edward and Nan EDINGTON LEONARD and died November 5, 2006 in his residence. He was 85. A police dispatcher for City of Corning Police Department, he was of the Pentecostal faith. He married the former Lora Irene CREAMEANS who died December 26, 1990. Survivors include four sons, Eddie LEONARD, Doniphan, MO, David LEONARD, Corning, Don LEONARD, Booneville, MS, John LEONARD, Corning; four daughters, Betty CROSSEN, Corning, Ella HATHAWAY, Corning, Donna PEARSON, Weleetka, OK and Lynn NISWONGER, Dardanelle; 41 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nan LEONARD; wife, Lora Irene LEONARD; three children, Jerry LEONARD, Deborah LEONARD and Fred LEONARD.
