He was 94 He was a veteran of WW II having served with the U.S. Army, retired lift operator with New York Blower Company and of Seventh Day Adventist faith. He married the former Mary M. LUDWIG. ORVIL WILLIAMSON Orvil WILLIAMSON, Corning, was born Mach 3, 1921 in Corning to William P. and Hallie HART WILLIAMSON. He died October 19, 2006 in his home. June 17, 1949 he married the former Alma Ann Mae HOLLAND who preceded him in death. He was affiliated with Big "T" Apostolic Church. Survivors are three sons, Orvil Dale WILLIAMSON,Jr., Corning, Samuel WILLIAMSON, Doniphan, MO and Ricky WILLIAMSON, Gary, IN; one daughter, Sharon ROGERS, Lettsworth, LA; one brother, Leonard WILLIAMSON, Ellington, MO;; three sisters, Ruby HAYS, Corning, Rosie MITCHELL, Oklahoma and Bea LAW, Poplar Bluff, MO; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. TOMMIE WALKER Tommie Butch WALKER, lifelong resident of Butler County, MO, was born in Harviell January 26, 1947 to Luther E. and Audrey WALKER and died in John J. PERSHING VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006. He was 59. A U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam War, he received a bronze star and purple heart. He was a member of Fellowship Southern Baptist Church, Harviell. Survivors are two daughters, Brenday and Carolyn; mother, Audrey WALKER, Harviell; sisters, Shirlene NOEL, Fenton, MO, Vicki WALKER, Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers, Edward KEARBEY, Columbus, TX and Terry WALKER, Waynesville, MO; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther E. WALKER and sister Kay BIRDSONG. Services Monday, October 23, 2006 in Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with Roy DAVIS officiating. MORGAN was born in McDougal to Dewey F. and Ruby Jewel SPROUSE HOPKINS and died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Swedish-American Hospital, Rockford, IL. She was 64. On January 10, 1959 she married Robert D. MORGAN in Marion, IL. A member of Water of Life Ministries, she and her husband co-owned the Ambassador Taxi Co. Survivors include her husband, Robert, Sr. of the home; three daughters, Tammie FOREMAN and Sandra (Michael) CLARK, all of Rockford, IL; one son, Allen MORGAN, Piggott; her mother, Ruby KRANTZ, Corning; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Arvilla McKINNEY and Barbara HOPKINS; four brothers, Eugene, Denver, Leo and LeRoy HOPKINS; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; son, Rober D. MORGAN,Jr.; daughter, Edith Jewel; brother, Bobby HOPKINS and granddaughter, Corrine HOOVER. Services were conducted Thursday, October 19, 2006 in Sundberg Funeral Home Ltd., Rockford, IL with pastor Dan HERNANDEZ officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
