I have quite a lot on the Throgmorton and Corzine line's. Would like to find out more about Maun Throgmorton Gallemore Gumbert's early life. On the Merritt-Mcleskey side- Mary Elizabeth Mcleskey married a Merritt, James Marion I think, don't know where or when except before 1892. James Marion Merritt died after 1895 and before 1900. Mary was living with her mother Sarah Wingo Mcleskey Pinkston on the 1900 census. I am not sure which Mcleskey Sarah Wingo married. also looking for information on my father's World War II service. His discharge records the wrong unit. I am hoping someone in doing newspaper research in the Piggott, Clay County library might run across some mention of him.His name was Richard Throgmorton and he enlisted in November of 1942. I know that some might not think the latter is a genealogy question but I think genealogy is more than just names and dates, it also includes information about the person's life. So before you cry foul please think about whether or not you'd like to know if Great Grandpa was a doctor who took care of the governor or an outlaw who was shot robbing a bank. Sherry
