She died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould, Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was 94. A member of the First United Methodist Church, she was a homemaker and member of the Eastern Star. July 8, 1933, she married John F. COX,Sr. who died Jan. 13, 1984. Survivors are two sons, Jerry COX, Neelyville, MO and John F. COX, Jr., Jonesboro; three daughters, Joan TALBOTT, Neelyville, MO, Peggy HANCOCK, Corning, Kathy COX, Tyronza; one sister, Christine KING, Corning; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Curt WILLS and Jess WILLS. Funeral services were conducted Friday June 1, 2007 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home with Rev. Alma Marie REYNOLDS officiating.Burial in Corning Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. BLAKE VANNADA Blake VANNADA, Corning was born July 31, 1987 in Paragould. He died in an automobile accident Wednesda, May 30, 2007. He was 19. A 2005 graduate of Corning High School, he was a machine operator at Waterloo, Pocahontas. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his parents, Gerald Ray "Bunky" VANNADA and Pam MULLINS, both of Corning; step sisters Natalie VANNADA and Courtney REED both of Corning; grandparents, Wilburn and Altie MULLINS, Knob; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by grandparents Sonny and Fern VANNADA. Graveside services were conducted Friday June 1, 2007 in Cantwell Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. CHRISTINE CROWELL Christine CROWELL, Success, was born Sept. 13, 1923 in Nettleton daughter of Henry Pinkney and Ora Ethel LEASE WISE. She died May 31, 2007 in the Meadows Health and Rehab. She was 83. She was a member of Success Baptist Church. July 23, 1941 in Doniphan, MO, she married James Lafayette CROWELL who preceded her in death March 13, 1995. Survivors are one son, Larry CROWELL, Corning; one daughter Priscella WILLIAMS, Success; five grandchildren Rhonda WILLIAMS MOORE, Steve WILLIAMS, Joella CROWELL WOLPERS, Jamie WESTON and Jennifer HALL; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, Claude WISE, one sister Edna HAWKS. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 2, 2007 in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David RICHEY officiating. Burial in Hitt Cemetery, Success, under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. CATHERINE LUTTRELL Catherine LUTTRELL, Knobel, was born in Cherry Valley, June 17, 1937. She died June 4, 2007 in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould. She was 88. Affiliated with Church of Christ, she was a beautician and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and golfing. Survivors are four sons, Scott BROWN, Clinton, IL, Kenny BROWN, Knobel, Greg COE, Corning, Tyrone COE, Knobel; one daughter, Rhonda HALSTEAD, Brookland; two stepsons, Gary LUTTRELL, Knobel and Doug LUTTRELL, Corning; one stepdaughter, Meredith LUTTRELL, Paragould; two brothers J.E. WILSON, Newaygo, MI, and J.B. WILSON, Scottville, KY; two sisters, Josephine MILLER, Wayne and Christine WHITE, Whitehall, MI; 17 grandchildren, 4 grea-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie WILSON and Myrtle STARNES BRIMMER; three brothers, J.W. WILSON, J.R. WILSON, William WILSON and one sister, Evelyn BRUCE. Services are Friday June 8, 2007 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home with Rick HOLDEN officiating.
