    3. Recent obits taken from the Clay County Courier, Corning, Clay County, Arkansas. I apologize for not having put the obits on in awhile. My father inlaw, who was 82, passed away the 25th after a long illness. We had been helping with his care and trasporting him to the doctors etc. which took alot of time. SOULA JR.HERREN Soula Jr. "Jack" HERREN was born in Hillstring, April 23, 1928 to Soula Sr. and Raka PARK HERREN. He died in the St. Louis area Monday, July 23, 2007 he was 79. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Katie M. WHITE HERREN. Survivors include his wife Atha C. HERREN; children, Linda FYFFE, Jackie (George) ABOUNADER, Terry HERREN and Michael HERREN; step children Janet MARTIN and Larry BANDO; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and many others. Funeral services will be in Bible Baptist Church, St. Charles, MO Friday July 27, at 1:00 a.m. Graveside services will be Friday July 27 at 6:00 p.m. in Richwoods Cemetery with Herb ELLIS officiating under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home of Corning. DIANA KAY BOWEN Diana Kay "Mama Dee" BOWEN of Knobel, formerly of Corning and Piggott, was born in LaPorte, IN, daughter of the late Donald and Beatrice POINTON SCHOFF. She died Friday, July 20, 2007 in St. Bernards Medical Center, Jonesboro. She was 60. A homemaker and longtime resident of Clay County, she was the widow of Johnny BOWEN who died in 1994. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary ZILA. Survivors are one son, Mathew BOWEN, Knobel; two daughters Missy MANUEL, Jonesboro and Melody MILLER, Paragould; one sister Donna SCHRAM, Michigan City, IN; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, July 25 at Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service, Leachville. He died in Ripley County Memorial Hospital Sunday, July 22, 2007. He was 60 years of age. A truck driver, he was of the Baptist faith. He married Dorothy Lee RICHARDSON PATRICK May 29, 1991. She survives. Other survivors are one daughter, Kimberly PATRICK COOPER, Paragould; one son Rick PATRICK, Datto; one step daughter Sharon BAILIE, Cassvile, MO; two step sons, George PAGE and Peter PAGE, both of Monette, MO; five brothers, J.T. PATRICK, Allen PATRICK, Glen PATRICK all of Corning; Bobby PATRICK, Jonesboro and Anthony PATRICK, Gatewood, MO; one sister Martha DOWDY, Corning; five grandchildren, Derick PATRICK, Sarah JERECZEK, Jennifer JERECZEK, Hailey JERECZEK, Preston PAGE; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershal and Ozell PATRICK. Masonic funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home.
