LaBROT Ruby Pauline MITCHELL LaBROT was born May 10, 1924 in Manila to James SANFORD and Elizabeth Rachel MITCHELL and died August 25, 2006 in Cypress Gardens, CA. She was 82. She married William H. LaBROT November 11, 1945 in St Louis, MO. To this union one son was born, James William LaBROT, who survives. Other survivors include two grandaughters, Eyvette and Crystal; five great-grandchildren, Ketrina, Kaylinn, Kyle, Kendall and Konner; two sisters, Joyce STEELE, Success and Jewell LANE, Sun City, AZ; two brothers, Floyd MITCHELL, Little Rock and Melvin "Jack" MITCHELL, Corning. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Lloyd Eugene, Gene Allen and Orville Glen MITCHELL and one sister, Ruth MITCHELL. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 2 at 12:30 p.m. with burial at Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Cypress, CA. CARL JOHNSON Carl JOHNSON, Corning was born in Ingram, August 11, 1922 to William Vince and Melissa Josephine McELMURRY JOHNSON. He died in St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro, august 27, 2006. He was 84. He was a retired farmer and a member of Church of Christ. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and arrowhead hunting. March 4, 1950 he married Norma Irene "Jean" DUNN JOHNSON, and she survives. Other survivors include one son, Brock JOHNSON, Corning; three daughters Donna (Larry) McDOWELL, Kennett, MO, Joann WOODS and Sam HALL, Pocahontas, Mindie (Melvin) MITCHELL, Corning; three grandchildren, Misty McDOWELL, Kennett, MO, Jesse MARCH, Corning and Adam FOX, Jonesboro; one sister, Arlene KING, Biggers; one brother, Russell JOHNSON, Biggers; one special nephew, Bill WAYMON, Myrtle, MO; several nieces and nephews. MARLYN CRAFTON Marlyn CRAFTON, Corning, was born February 25, 1930 in Crofton, NE, to Raymond and Ruby Mae EVANS COUNTRYMAN. She died Sunday, August 27, 2006 in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, MO. She was 76. A member of Corning First Christian Church, she was Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and member of Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included bowling. On April 23, 1966, she married Eddie Poe CRAFTON, who survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Carolyn SCOTT, Memphis, TN, Peggy MABERRY, Lancaster, PA and Debby LONG, Paducah, KY; one step-daughter, Peggy HIGGINS, Poplar Bluff, MO; one half-sister, Karen SUND, Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruby COUNTRYMAN, step-son Mike CRAFTON, two brothers, Wayne and Rodney COUNTRYMAN.
