Please reply to lacywinston@earthlink.net Can anyone help Nancy? I am trying to find any record of the death of Sarah Youman(s) SMITH, died while on vacation in Arkansas, buried somewhere near Ravenden Springs, AR. We believe she died between 1905 and 1915, from complications of childbirth. She was from Corning, AR before her marriage to Martin VanBuren SMITH, then they moved to Wilderness, Oregon County, MO, where she was a resident at time of death. Any help at all would be well appreciated. Our family would like to locate Sarah's burial site and place monument there. Thank you so much. Nancy Lewis Millsap lacywinston@earthlink.net

Just read Jerry's post about how helpful the people at the Corning, Ark. court house were. They are super people! I was there a few months ago and they went out of their way to help me find things and make copies. Even if they were busy, they would stop and ask if I needed any help. If more Court Houses were this responsive to our searches, it would sure make it alot easier and alot more enjoyable. Rita, in Texas
Cathy, Sorry for being so late in replying ... book arrived and found valuable information in the newspapers files... just terrific, more family members to lookup ... I want to let everyone in the group to know that the individuals at the Corning Courthouse we most welcomed in assisting me over the phone.. this does not hold true in some states courthouse where they want you to send them a letter because they are over worked, and have no time to answer genealogy quests or information... even if you have the dates for them...
