My long time search for Pleasant Henry Trower in any record in Arkansas has been fruitless. In any family record of his Trower family, he is said to have died in Kirtland, Arkansas around 1868. I understand that Kirtland no longer exists...maybe was absorbed in some other larger town. I know he had some relatives in Carroll Co. at that time, so thought maybe that is a logical place to look. Boone Co. may be possible too. Pleasant had left his wife, Nancy, about 1858-60, and they had lived in Flat Creek Mo. for years. I have never found any mention of him anywhere after 1860.
