I've "rescued" an old photograph of Will WYATT which was taken at the G. A. Jenkins Studio in Green Forest, Arkansas. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's and is of Will and a woman, with Will likely in his 70's or 80's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has written "W. W. & J. W." along with "Mrs. Hannah GUNNING - Brother". Based on limited research was able to gather the following information regarding a possible match: William Hale WYATT was b. 1 Jun 1812 in Jefferson Co., TN to parents Solomon WYATT (b. 7 Apr 1773) and Hannah REESE or REECE (b. 23 Sept 1775 in Franklin Co. VA). William was one of 7 children born to this couple including, Reuben; Mary Jane "Hatty"; Cynthia Dow; Lorenzo; William Hale; Solomon J.; and Alexander S. WYATT, all born between 1798 and 1818 in TN and Gordon Co. GA. William married Rebecca STILL (b. 12 Feb 1816 in NC or GA) on 2 Dec 1835 in Jefferson Co., TN and together they had 8 children including, Lorenzo Dow; Mary Emeline; Sarah Jane; George Alexander; Isaac Anderson; Martha Ann; Rebecca Caroline; and William P. WYATT all born between 1837 and 1852 in Jefferson Co. TN, Gordon Co. GA, and Yell, AR. On 25 Sep 1860 in Carroll Co. AR William married a second time to Martha Emeline DAVIS (b. 13 Sept 1842 in Lauderdale Co. AL) and they had 10 children including, James F.; Thomas Jefferson; William Grant; Margaret Isabelle; John H.; Joseph Wesley; Hannah Julia; Nancy Ellen; Solomon Perry; and Rose or Rosa Victoria WYATT all born between 1862 and 1886 in Ozark, MO and Carroll Co. AR. William died in Green Forest, AR on 3 May 1890. Census records provide the following information: 1860 census of Hickory Township, AR: William H. WYATT, age 48, a Farmer, born VA Lorenzo D. WYATT, age 22, a Farmer, born TN Mary E. WYATT, age 20, born TN Sarah J. WYATT, age 18, born TN George A. WYATT, age 15, a Farmer, born TN Isaac A. WYATT, age 13, born GA Martha Ann WYATT, age 11, born GA Rebecca C. WYATT, age 9, born GA William P. WYATT, age 6, born GA 1880 census of Hickory, AR: W. H. WYATT, age 67, a Farmer, born TN, parents born VA/TN Martha E. WYATT, wife, age 38, Keeping House, born TN, parents born TN Thomas J. WYATT, son, age 14, Works at Home, born MO William T. WYATT, son, age 13, a Farm Laborer, born AR Margaret J. WYATT, dau, age 11, at Home, born AR John H. WYATT, son, age 9, at Home, born AR Joseph W. WYATT, son, age 7, born AR Hanna J.
