    3. Dear Sir, Madam, Please assist me with the following. I am from Holland and have an interest in WW 2 history. I do research about US servicemen who were killed in WW 2 and are/were buried in the US Military Cemetery in Holland (and Belgium), near where I live. I am searching in particular a picture from: Ira C. McBee, KIA 28th September 1944, born in 1944.He was re-buried at IOOF Cemetery, Eureka Springs, Arkansas (Findagrave information). Can you please help me? Perhaps there was a notice about his death in 1944 in a local newspaper or there was a picture in a yearbook. Thank you in advance, kind regards from Holland, Antoine

    2. Mr. McBee is not listed in the book 1942-1945, "Carroll County Men with the Colors" published by O. Klute Braswell. The book is a compilation of Berryville's Star Progress newspaper clippings of WWII soldiers from Carroll Co. Even though Ira was living in Eureka Springs in the 1940 census with his widowed mother and sister and working in a florist shop, he join the military in GA. He was in Eureka Springs in the 1930 census when his father was still alive. His parents were married in Carroll Co., AR in 1905, but their children were born in KS. -----Original Message----- From: anthony nouens <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, Nov 19, 2013 1:32 pm Subject: [ARCARROL] WW2/McBee Dear Sir, Madam, Please assist me with the following.
