I noticed in the Carroll County census that there are two Jefferson Davises and each on has a Jefferson and a Martha but the one that has the Jefferson married to a Mary is the one I am looking for.The one is married to a Catherine Standlee but the other Jefferson doesn't list a wife only his son is listed with a wife named Mary.I think the one I am looking for went from Ky>Tex.>Ark.>KY.I find the ones I am looking for in Livingston County Ky.in the 1870 census,they come out of Arkansas and I believe they were the in Carroll County Ark.,they are listed as coming from Arkansas.
