Cora, Many of the Carroll County court records have been warehoused and I have been told we would never see them again. I was told this by a clerk in the Eureka Springs court house. I have contacted both the Museum in Eureka Springs and the Carroll County Historical Society and have apparently been ignored by both because neither ever replied to my message. My great grandfather supposedly taught school in the Eureka Springs area probably sometime between 1880 and when he died in 1922 but I don't have a clue as to which one. CORRECTION to the below message: The census instructions for 1933 are to enumerate all children with birthdates that fall between March 11, 1912 and March 10 1927. The first sheet in of the census records for 1933 is actually a 1932 census sheet as are some of the other census sheets with 1933 records. It seems they used the sheets from the year before to make some of the records. I guess the census sheets were a precious commodity, as some of the census records for some of the schools contain hand drawn census sheets on pages of plain tablet paper. I have found other sheets that were actually from a previous year, but usually the enumerator would mark out the printed year and write in the correct year. The Connor enumerators did not mark out the year and write in the correct year.
