Lanita, Pleasant Bennett's family remained in Calhoun County, except Henry and James Madison who moved on to Texas. Pleasant and Welcome had a brother, William, whose family moved to Franklin County, Arkansas. Pleasant was mentioned in Welcome's will. They also had a brother James, sister Lucinda and a half-brother Hiram. I descend from Pleasant Bennett's daughter, Margaret. I have quite a bit of information on this family. How can I help?
