Hello Everyone, My name is Earl J. Laws and I am researching the Laws, Earnest, Mulligan, Moore, Sims, and Brumley families in Calhoun County. These families came from Tennesee, Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas. I live in Calhoun County close to Tinsman. I am also looking for info on my wife's people and they are the McManus, Reaves, Speer, Council, and Thomason families from Calhoun County and the Lash, Armstrong, Bryant, and Knowles from Cleveland County. I am also interested in the Civil War, mostly the local engagements and people with local connections. I had two g-grandfathers that fought in the war and were captured, one being wounded twice. My wife had at least three of her grandfathers, not sure on the great, that fought in the war. Also, for anyone interested, the annual Hogskin Holidays will be the weekend of April 13. The old photo display is very interesting. Does anyone have any info on the Thornton and Alexandria (T&A) Railroad. Jr.
