They had 5 children all born in Arkansas: Alica L. born abt 1862, Amos A. born abt 1866, Eugene S. born abt 1868, Annis born abt 1875, Abraham born abt 1879. I would like to find out if this Abraham is my G-Grandfather. Abraham DAVIS married Ola REYNOLDS (Cherokee Indian is what I have been told)on 21, May 1900 in Ashley County, Arkansas. The census that I have found with Abraham and Ola DAVIS has 3 children Andrew U, Pleasant, John B.. in 1910 Census Bradley County, Arkansas. ****My grandfather Pleasy parents names were Abram and Ola DAVIS**** and he was born and lived in Arkansas most of his life. My Grandfather name on his headstone is Pleasy J.P. DAVIS born 27, May 1909 AR and died 3, May 1969 AR. In his orbituary his name is J.P.(Jack) DAVIS and in it said that he has 2 sisters Susie and Rosie DAVIS both of Louisiana and a 1/2 brother Clyde DAVIS from New Orleans. In my Grandfather's death record has his name as Jack Pleasy DAVIS. My Grandfather married 3 times that I know of 1st marriage was to my grandmother Viola EILAND they had 2 children Betty DAVIS born in MS(my mother) and Maybell DAVIS born in MS maybel died 3 months after she was born in 1942 same year my grandmother died. 2nd marriage to Beadie BUCK-EILAND they had 2 children born in MS Bobbie Lou DAVIS and Annie Laura DAVIS who I was told that live with a Aunt (Beadie's sister) in Mississippi after their mother died in 1947. 3rd marriage to Helen Alene Hurst. My grandfather is buried at Edgewood Memorial Park in N. Little Rock, Arkansas by his 3rd wife Helen Hurst Davis ANDERSON. If you have any information on these DAVIS please contact me.
