King (1852-1890) Catherine "Kate" Caroline King (1847-1914) Calhoun County, AR 40 Acre farm, purchased from Alonzo Dossen Witherington in April 1882, and was later inherited by Willie King (maternal grandson of Kate King) upon the death of his grandmother in 1914. Willie King later sold the land to W. R. Stringfellow for $387.50 on 26 September 1918, as Willie prepared to enter the Army during World War I.
