My great grandfather was Eli Cornish, prominent farmer, gin and saw mill owner. My other great grandfather was Silas Benson Lee, newspaper owner and publisher, in Hampton, Calhoun county. He owned the original Arkansas Plaindealer which he sold to my grandfather, Samuel Gill Lee. Looking for information on this original newspaper, as well as info on Silas Benson Lee.
