He married Theodocia Ann Simpson on Dec. 22, 1829 Jackson Co., Al. They were listed in the 1850 Ouachita Co., AR census in Freeo Township: Bennett, Pleasant 41 M W Farmer GA, Docia 36 F W VA, Francis 18 F W AL, Sennia 15 F W AL, Thomas 13 F W AL, Margaret 11 F W AL, Mary E. 7 F W AL, Nancy P. 5 F W AR, Henry 2 M W AR. By 1860, they were located in Calhoun Co., Ar. According to a Pleasant descendant, in his Will, Welcome Bennett mentions his brother Pleasant Bennett. Also looking for current email address of Debbie Sy_ _ _ __ _ who gave me the info on Welcome mentioning Pleasant in his Will. Would like to get a copy of that Will but email address she gave me, no longer works. I am descendant of Welcome and am in the process of writing a BENNETT Book.
