Miers/Myers is listed in the Baptist Ministerial Directory, on page 497, as born, Talledega, Al. lic/ 1869, Ord. '70. Mt. Pleasant Ch. Ala; P. Mt. Pleasant, 5 years; Bethesda, 3 yrs; Woodberry, 4 years; Ebenezer, 13 years; Salem, 3 yrs.; Hampton, 2 years, Canan, 2 yrs.; Fordyce, 1 year; Salem,Tex. Woodberry, Ebenezer and Center Grove, etc.... On the Ar. Confederate Pension files named as Lawrence O. Miers, consists of several signings by himself, as L.O. Miers. Record reads: Miers, L.O. Co. K, 17th Ark.Also served Co. g, 11th Arkansas Infantry. Lawrence O. Miers m. Sarah T. Mosely, 8 Dec. 1867 Calhoun, Co. Ar. Daughter Elizabeth m. Dr. Willis Calvin Jones in 1888. Son Franklin is named F.O. MYERS on headstone . I am trying to prove the parents of Lawrence O. Miers/Myers. If you have any source for me to research I would be very thankful.
