Charles and Harvey were the sons of Thomas Hamilton Rowland and Missouri Alabama Stringfellow. Thomas H, born 8/22/1852, and John Marmaduke were brothers, sons of Thomas Rowland born 1822 in Illinois and Elizabeth Caroline Williams from Alabama.
