Ed and I became email friends about 8 years ago thru our common links in Calhoun County. Your dad was always ready to assist others in their search for family history. In addition to genealogy and family history, we also often shared jokes. Please tell Ed that we will be praying for him and that I feel very close to him, although we never actually met in person. Thanks, Ed....... and may God be with you! Dad has had a stroke and went down fast. We had to call in Hospice care today. He is resting comfortably now at home and we are caring for him. But the stroke and cancer will likely take him quickly. I wanted you to know and please spread the news to his friends. You were his main contacts over the years and he enjoyed your mail. I will let you know if there is a major change. His life was genealogy, and he loved it dearly. Of course he loved to read a good joke as well. thanks for being his friends. We would appreciate your prayers.
