Posted on: Calhoun Co. Ar Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Calhoun/142 Surname: ------------------------- Tommy, His name was Cicero Cates, although it may be spelled in a variety of ways, Ciseroe, Cesroe, Kates, Cate. I say this only because the true spelling of his name produced nothing, even in the Ark Death index, and I've seen it mispelled on other courthouse documents. I'm looking at about 1930-1933 for the death date, but strongly believe it was in 1930. He was murdered, so there should have been a story in the paper, as well as an obit. Anything you can do to help will be most appreciated. I will check and see who told me about the source for old newspapers. Coley
