I have been researching the Richard Stamps Callaway line to see if I can get into the DAR. I have run into a brick wall so to speak in tying Richard's father, Isaac into John Callaway of Wilkes Co. Georgia. The name "Stamps" runs in the JOSEPH CALLAWAY line and not in the PETER CALLAWAY line as does the name LARKIN which my great-grandmother was SARAH LARKIN CALLAWAY daughter of RICHARD STAMPS CALLAWAY. Have you had any questions about this line and gotten solid answers? If I remember correctly, it was LARKIN CALLAWAY who married JEMIMA BOONE, Daniel Boone's daughter.
