According to my database, Mary Wardlaw Hickman who is widow in Wes Jacob's Power of Attorney statement from 1856 married on March 12,1857 Nicholas P. Jarratt. Hope that helps. The Wardlaws moved from Abbeville, SC, to Greene Co., AL and then to Bradley Co., AR. Some of them moved on to Texas from Bradley Co. (I am descended from their sister Lucinda Wardlaw Hargraves who in 1856 was living in Greene Co., AL, but by 1860 was also living in Bradley Co.,AR. She died there after 1880.
