Jan Romie and Otis are not twins. Otis married my Dad's sister, Mae Ola Sharp.. I have him listed as being born on May 17, 1910. He died March 15, 1986 in Mobile, Al. and is buried in Springhill Memorial Cemetery in Mobile along with Mae Ola Sharp. She was born Oct. 10, 1911 in Bradley Co. died Nov. 28 1991 in Mobile, AL. William's wife says she has given birth to one child, who is still living. So it looks like the 1920 census has to be off for Otis's age. As for William's middle name, I noticed that he had a Social Security number (there is an entry in the SSDI for a William Hickman born January 9, 1887, which matches the WWI draft registration you found for William Andrew Hickman). Maybe William applied for a delayed birth certificate, which might also show his middle name.
