In the block northeast of the courthouse where the old jail was located, there are only two buildings, one the "calaboose" and the larger building "the jail." I thought jail and calaboose was one and the same. Anyone know why there would be two buildings? Also located at the corner of Walnut and Cedar is a "Negro Baptist Church", but it doesn't give the name of it. Also, does that "little" street right behind the courthouse have a name??
