I have been asked to write papers/essays on two families who were in Bradley Co in the early 1900's. One family was the Jake and Frances Koppel family that managed a department store named Abroms, I believe they moved to Warren from Dermott where Jake's brother-in-law, Abe Abroms had a department store. The other family is the Fredrick Linton Purcell family. He was brought to Warren as a lawyer for the lumber cos. His grandson was Joe Purcell [born Warren] that was later an attorney here in Benton, then attorney general of the State, then Lt. Gov and acting Gov for a very short time. I know that Joe's mother was Lynelle Cunningham and that her family had a grocery store there. If anyone knows anything about these families or connects with them, please contact me.
