    3. My husband's grandmother, Inda Anna Veazey Woodard, had a brother, John Amos Veazey born 7 Dec 1880 in Bradley Co. He married Daisy Lathan at Warren. She was born 16 Aug 1880 and died 16 Aug 1950 in Little Rock. To my knowledge they had only one child, Helen Veazey born 8 Oct 1906 in Warren. [side-note - my husband, Lathan, was named after this Lathan family - his dad taught some of the Lathans and he loved the name!] John Amos Veazey died 1 Sep 1934 at Warren. He's buried in Oakland Cem. I cannot find him anywhere in the 1930 census and he certainly isn't with his family according to this: 1930 Pennington Twp Bradley Co.: George C. Morgan age 36 lumber salesman Ruth age 34 wife Mary J. age 9 George C., Jr., age 4 1/12 Helen Veazey age 33 cousin school teacher Daisey Veazey age 49 aunt Ona Caplinger age 33 sis-in-law Orlando H. Caplinger age 71 fa-in-law I know that the daug, Helen, married Frank Webb McGibbony and they had a son named Mike. Was this the same Capt Frank McGibbony who was johnny on the spot when the '49 tornado hit? Was Daisey a Lathan or a Caplinger? The census leads one to think she would have been a sister to Ruth Caplinger Morgan, but I'm not sure. If John Amos didn't die until 1934 then where was he in the 1930 census? Daisey is still listed as "married."
