Child # 1 WILLIAM J. SMITH, born around 1842, in Arkansas. He was on the 1850 Census with Thomas and Elizabeth Smith. No other information. Child # 2 MARTHA E. SMITH, born March 3, 1846 in Bradley County Arkansas. She died September 24, 1904. She is buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Jersey, Bradley Co AR. Martha married September 4, 1870, in Bradley County, Arkansas to Lewis C. McDougald. Martha E. Smith and William Harold Johnson married February 17, 1881 in Bradley County, Arkansas. Martha E. Smith McDougald Johnson's children: SALLIE MCDOUGALD, born around 1875. No other information GEORGE R. MCDOUGALD, born December 9, 1877/79, died May 11, 1947. George married July 20, 1898, in Bradley County, Arkansas to Susie McClain/McClinton. Susie was born 1875, and died 1918. Viola and William are buried in Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Child # 3 AMANDA JANE SMITH, born December 25, 1847, in Louisiana, died March 13, 1928. Amanda was called Mandy. She married September 15, 1869, in Bradley County, Arkansas to Robert M. McDougald. Robert, born April 28, 1846, died February 5, 1910. Robert was in the 20th Arkansas Infantry of the Confederate Army from 1863 to 1865. Robert and Mandy received Civil War Pensions. Nancy was born September 17, 1862 and died November 14, 1945. Her father was William C. Boyett. Hansford and Nancy lived in the community of Gravelridge. They are buried in the Gravelridge Cemetery in Bradley County, Arkansas. Hansford and Nancy did not have any children. Child # 5 GEORGE W. SMITH, born August 11, 1856, died March 16, 1903.
