    3. Melissa The more I learn about this couple, the more curious I become regarding his burial at Ebenezer! I didn't realize any of the Scull family lived in the area, but found what I believe are Ira's in-laws living in Drew Co. Saline Twp Dist 52 page 28-28 at Ancestry John C. Scull age 60 AR AR KY General farm Alice R. age 60 [wife] MS SC AL Elizabeth G. age 35 daughter Alvis J. age 23 son Insurance Agent Norma I age 20 dau. Public School teacher Jerome H. age 18 son Section Boss RR Rellie M. Garrett age 11 or 16 [hard to read] niece AR TX AR John C. Scull undoubtably descends from Hewes Scull who was one of the first white inhabitants at the Arkansas Post. Ira Trussell married Norma Scull and in 1920 they lived in Pennington Twp where he was a farmer. Children listed were Mildred, Margaret and Joe Fred. In 1930 they were both teaching and living in Collins Twp Drew Co. Ira died in 1931. There is USUALLY a family connection found in the old cemeteries, but I cannot find one with Ira Trussell and Ebenezer Cem. Just curious. melissa@satmel.com wrote: In his WWI draft registration, his nearest relative looks like "Norma Scull Trussell". Have not done more research on her to confirm this as her last name, but I should. Ira is the son of William Wyatt Trussell. --Melissa Quoting bjw : > I'm trying to connect the families buried in Ebenezer Cem. and need > some help on one guy that I can't figure why he was buried there > unless his wife was from the area. > > Ira G. 3. I noticed that a Ruffin is buried in Ebenezer....The Trussells and Ruffins go back to the Simpson line out of Mississippi....this could be the family connection....Just a thought.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "bjw" <jann_woodard@yahoo.com> To: <arbradle@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 18, 2007 7:54 PM Subject: Re: [ARBRADLE] Trussell > Melissa > > The more I learn about this couple, the more curious I become regarding > his burial at Ebenezer! > > I didn't realize any of the Scull family lived in the area, but found > what I believe are Ira's in-laws living in Drew Co.
