She was born October 7, 1902 at Gurdon, a daughter of the late Edward Lee Harley and Mary Alcorn Harley. She was a retired manager for Western Union Company and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren. She was past President of the Bradley County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, past chairman of the SemiAnnual Diagnostic Clinic and supply chairman of the Home cancer patients of the Bradley County Chapter of the American Cancer Society and an avid bridge player. She was the widow of Meek Carl Singer, prominent banker, who died November 10, 1972. Surviving are several nieces and great nieces. Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, at Oakland Cemetery by Rev. David Pittenger. Arrangements were by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Gerald Burton, Gerard Sangster, James E. Smith, L. H. Derby, Jr., John B. Frazer, Bill Wisener, Mike Schull and Carlton E. Davis.
