Margret's parents were Edward and Jane Rainey Clanton. Dock was raised by members of his Grandmother Florentine's family in Palestine Township, Bradley County, Arkansas after both his mother, father, and step mother died. Zephanias Dock Barfield (b. 1846 in MS, d. 1883 in Ark) Elizabeth H Franklin (b. 1845, d. 1877) 2nd wife: Lizzie Rainey, married Zephanias in 2-19-79. She was 20, he was 31.
