He was born here in Warren on Christmas Day, 1951, to Flossie Mae Allison and Jay Sanford. He was a member of the St. James AME Church here and attended Bradley High, receiving his GED degree in the Job Corps. Funeral and interment were in Detroit, with Bishop Phillip Pulliam giving the eulogy. Others taking part in the service were Michael Fletcher, Keiforne Clifton and Taugla Clifton. His mother survives him, as do the following two children, Marguita and Terrance Sanford of Detroit; Grandparents, David and Lubertha Allison of San Diego; six brothers, Roy Green, Willie Park, Bobby Allison and Barry Allison, all of Warren; Leon Green of Milwaukee, James Marsk of Chicago; six sisters, Nancy Clifton of Chicago, Stephanie Davis, Natasha Davis, Contessa Allison, all of Milwaukee, Shanella Byrd, Anita Shorter of Warren; Two sisters-in-law, Helen Green and Tarsha Allison; three brother-in-law, Rolando Davis, Johnnie Davis and Samuel Byrd; six uncles; two aunts; one Great Aunt Mae Emma Tate and a host of nieces, nephews and one special friend, Sheba.
