    3. As a matter of interest, the home mentioned in the article still stands, albeit in bad shape, in the Lanark Community. The property is owned by Dub and Katie (Ederington) Roark. Several years ago a chain link fence was installed around the old log home to try to prevent further vandalism after several hewn logs used for interior walls were sawn out and removed by people to use as fireplace mantles.Could this possibly be the oldest building standing in its original location in Bradley County? I have been told the home was built in 1848-50. Baker Peebles >AR Gazette June 19, 1929, Warren, Jun 18 - Miss Carrie B. Ederington, aged 48, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Ederington, four miles below Banks. Miss Ederington was a member of an old Bradley county family, her family having lived for more than 75 years in the same home. She is survived by her father and mother, four brothers, Sam, Dillard, Will and John Ederington, and three sisters, Miss Hattie Ederington, Mrs. Jim Childs and Mrs. Harry Ivy, all of Bradley county. > >--------------------------------- >Choose the right car based on your needs.
