    3. Sam M. Ivey, 95, one of Bradley County's eldest citizens died in a Little Rock hospital Monday. He was born in Bradley County during the Civil War, and lived here all his life. He was a member of the Methodist Church. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zillie Ivey of Hermitage; three sons, H. C. Ivey of Hot Springs, and B. R. and Sam Ivey, both of Orange, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Dave Ferguson and Mrs. Ernest Nixon of Hermitage, Mrs. Roy Hickman of Ingalls, Mrs. Len Jones of Bearden, and Mrs. Corinth Williams of Moro Bay; 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral was Teusday at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Rolla Nixon. Burial was in the Hickory Springs Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Homer Ferguson, Kenneth Ferguson, Wallace Nixon, Jerry Williams, Kenneth Williams, Dock Quimby, Almoth Ivey and Clinton [sic] Clifton? Ivey.
