    3. William Franklin Belin, 78, died at his home Saturday morning July 1. He was a member of one of Bradley County's oldest families and for a number of years was marshal here. Mr. Belin was born at Lanark May 1, 1861. He was a member of the Methodist church for 70 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ella Koonce, whom he married February 28, 1885; five sons, Switzer Belin of Smackover, Curtis Belin of Jonesboro, and R. W. Belin, Louis Belin, III, and W. F. Belin, Jr.; five daughters, Mrs. R. N. Reynolds of Camden, Mrs. Edwin Hankins, Mrs. Cone Turner, Mrs. F. G. Watson and Mrs. Charles Jolley; 27 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hankins by the Rev. L. E. N. Hundley, pastor of the First Methodist church. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery in charge of Frazer's Funeral Home. Pall bearers were active - Ernest Hankins, Nick Turner, Tobe Turner, Gus Turner, Robert Baker, Jr., and Frank Culbreath; honorary - Bill Denson, Dan Wilfong, J. W. Cruce, R. S. Jolley, F. H. Durham, Bill O'Neal, Ned O'Neal, Ed Jolley, Lem Jolley, Gold DeArmond, Arthur Chapman, R. W. Glasgow, H. L. Rowland, Ed Moseley, W. D. Roddey, Carl Hollis, C. W. Hickman, C. A. Burns, G. B.
