T. J. Parnell, aged 79, died at his home in Warren, February 25. He was born in Bradley County on December 11, 1866. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted at the Cross Roads Church at 3 p.m. Monday the Rev. Lee Moseley. Interment was in Parnell cemetery. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Weslie Parnell of Monroe, Louisiana, Ed Parnell, Harvey Parnell, Clarence Parnell and Oscar Parnell of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Doggett of Warren, and Mrs. Beulah Grice of New Edinburg, 27 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
