Mary Belle Wolfe, 61, of Banks, died December 21 at her home. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. V. Wolfe of Banks; one son, Oder Wolfe of Banks; and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Pearce of Snyder, Texas and Mrs. Eva Hudson of Thornton. Funeral services for Mrs. Wolfe were conducted at the Williams Cemetery at 2:30 Tuesday by Rev. Carl Wheeler. Interment was at Williams Cem. by Frazer Funeral Home. Eagle Dem. Dec. 23, 1953 Goose Ankle - Lloyd Wolfe age forty died at his home near Star City August 31st. He is survived by his wife and fourteen children. Mr. Wolfe was born and reared in this community and leaves a host of relatives and friends. Burial was at Williams Cemetery. Eagle Dem. Sep 11, 1930 John William Wolfe, 86, of Banks, Rt. 1, a native of Mississippi, died at is home at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, July 14. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are one son John W. Wolfe; four daughters, Mrs. Jim Thompson of Cleveland County, Mrs. Frank Armstrong, Mrs. Gladys Bethea, both of Banks, Mrs. Ethel Bragg of Saline County and one brother, George Wolfe of Banks. Funeral services were held at Williams Cemetery at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by W. W. Wagnon. Pallbearers were Roy Burks, Wilmot Burks, John Wolfe, Oder Wolfe, Roy Grice and Amos Rhodes. Eagle Dem. July 23, 1943 A. G. Wolfe, aged 91, died at his home in Banks Monday. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Williams Cemetery. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Those surviving are three sons, H. N. Wolfe of Shreveport, La., C. H. Wolfe of Banks, P. D. Wolfe of El Dorado; five daughters, Mrs. Hubert Turner and Mrs. D. F. Gardner of Lake Village, Mrs. Eula Morgan of Crossett, Mrs. R. C. Caley of Springdale, La., and Mrs. D. Nixon of Banks. Jan 6, 1944 Eagle Dem. J. L. Wolfe, 86, of Banks, died at his home Monday March 9. He was born in Bradley County on May 9, 1855 and was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Wolfe; four sons, Will of Lake Village, A. R., John and Elmer, all of Banks; two daughters, Mrs. Effie Erwin and Mrs. Velma Owens, both of New Edinburg; and one brother, A. G. of Banks. Funeral services were held at Williams cemetery at 3:30 by the Rev. W. T. Bone of New Edinburg. Mar 12, 1942 Eagle Dem. Malinda A. Wolfe, 81, wife of the late J. R. Wolfe, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. A. McLeod at 12 o'clock noon Saturday following an illness of several months. Mrs. Wolfe is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R. C. Henry of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. A. Nichols of Camden, Mrs. W. A. McLeod of Warren and Mrs. R. W. McMurry of Banks; a brother, W. W. Plair of Warren, 31 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, March 5, at Banks cemetery by the Rev. W. D. Golden, pastor of the Methodist church of New Edinburg. Mar 9, 1939 Eagle Dem. Mrs. Lizzie Wolfe, 69, died Friday September 21, at her home 1501 Rock, after four months' illness. Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday September 23 from the Griffin-Leggett chapel with Rev. Frank Kell and Rev. L. H. Roseman officiating. Interment was in Shady Grove cemetery near Warren at 2 p.m. Monday September 24 with Rev. Rolla Nixon and Rev. Carl Wheeler assisting Rev. Lee Moseley of Warren who officiated. A native of Cleveland county Mrs. Wolfe had lived in Little Rock 17 years. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Murphy of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. N. J. Carter of Little Rock and Mrs. W. B. Davidson of Warren; two sons, Carl of Warren and Bryan of Little Rock; three brothers, Russell and Noah Bethea of Warren, and Robert Bethea of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Eagle Dem. Oct 4, 1945 Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon December 15, for Mrs. Nancy E. Wolfe, a native of Bradley County, who died on December 14. Mrs. Wolfe was born March 29, 1863. She was a member of the Methodist Church and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lola Cathey of Banks; three sons, Fred Creed of Kingsland, Joe Creed and Charles Creed of Warren; two brothers, George McKenzie of Rye and Jim McKenzie of Farmville. Twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildrin also survive. Services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Carl Wheeler and burial was made in Williams cemetery. pallbearers were Aubrey Cathey, O. F.
