Cone Turner Berry, aged 32, died at his home in Warren at 4:45 o'clock Monday morning. His death was caused by pneumonia. Mr. Berry was born August 5, 1886 in Bradley County and spent his life here. For a number of years he was employed by the Turner-Jones Grocer Company of the city. Since August 1927 he worked as drayman, contracting for hauling for the American Company of Arkansas and the Saline Crocer Company. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Murline, aged 9; one son, Cone Jr., age 7; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Berry of Bastrop, La.; four brothers, James, Otis and Ben of Bastrop and Andy of Portland, and two sisters, Mrs. G. V. Piper of Warren and Mrs. Van Gladden of Camden. Funeral services were held at Carmel church at 10:30 Tuesday morning by Rev. A. W. Waddill. Burial was at Adams cemetery. Pallbearers were: R. S. Wheeler, Carl Harding, Cone Turner, J. Walter Jones, Sanford Johnston, Mitchell Godfrey and Bonner Davis. Eagle Dem.
