Samuel Russell died on 1-31-1892.I reread my message and saw my mistake. So far Samuel and his family are the only Russells that ended up in the El Dorado area. He had two sons and one daughter. One son moved to California but the other son, John, and daughter,Mary,lived in the El Dorado area. John had three sons with only one still living.This son retired to El Dorado after many years of living elsewhere, but has moved to Texas to be near his daughter. I have traced Henry Russell, another son of James C. Russell. He is listed on the 1870 census as 10 months old. He was living with Samuel Russell on the 1880 census.
