How common was it, I wonder, to print these 5-generation pictures in the newspaper? I am still on the hunt for a 5-generation photo that would have been taken around 1950-1951. It would have shown Martha Mary Steadman Hickman, John Alex Hickman, Virgie Hickman Loveless, Ouida Loveless Jones, and Larry Jones as a little boy.
