To all, Researching the ancestors and decendents of William Marshall Gates (1813-1860) that were in, or still are in, the Bradley County area. I would be the 2nd great grandson of William through his son, Peter Washington Gates, who settled in the Saline County area. We were in Bradley County last fall and photographed a number of graves in the Hermitage area and then on to the Trinity County TX area for further research. I was also trying to contact an individual named "Wilke" but his E-Mail address is not in service at this time. Any assistance with locating him would be greatly appreciated. There were also some Gates here in Gonzales Co TX. Don't know if they are the same bunch.
