NUNNELEE did serve in Co D, 20th MS Infantry, have the document information to get copies of his and his wife's pension applications, and where to get them from. I will go back and update the queries I posted so others will know I have my answers and follow them up to add the specifics from applications when I get them so anyone looking for Walter will have the information too. With my deepest and most heartfelt thanks for your kindness, Kathye ============ Confederate pension # 4039 ================= W. H. Nunnellee applied for a Confederate pension from Bradley County in 1908, citing his service in Co. D, 20th Mississippi Infantry. His application was approved on August 6, 1908. Amanda Nunnellee also applied for a Confederate pension from Bradley County in 1912, stating that her husband had died on August 10, 1911. Her application was approved on August 8, 1912. The pension record file number is 4039. Desmond Walls Allen's "Index to Arkansas Confederate Pension Applications" and found the following (p. 223): "Nunnellee, W.H.; widow: Amanda; Co. D, 20 Miss. --; he applied: 1908, she applied: 1912, Bradley Co.; he died 11/10/1911." ========================================================= Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
