I am researching my husband's lines in Bradley County: Spears, Martin, McClain, Doggett, Ferrell, Lanier, Thomas, Moore, Haygood, Trussell - - to name the main ones. The Gil Martin family from Johnsville is our main concentration, along with the Wes Doggett line. Our Spears is a MYSTERY! John Thomas Spears died in 1899 around the time that his son, Luther Thomas, was born. John's wife, Annie Lanier, married Joel Castleberry, had 2 more daughters and died with their son around 1909. We have absolutely no idea where to go on the Spears. Jayne Munnerlyn Spears
