    3. Obit Jewell R. Smith Jewell Reddin Smith, age 80, of Warren, died Friday, June 26, 1998, at the Bradley County Medical Center. Born July 28, 1917, in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Jordan and Marie Baker Reddin. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Assembly of God, and the widow of Charles Clarance Smith, who died January 17, 1976. They were married August 28, 1936. Survivors include 3 sons, Clarance Eugene Smith of Pine Bluff, Robert Ernest Smith of Pine Bluff, and Bobby Smith of Livingston, Texas; 4 daughters, Virginia Kitchens of Warren, Stella Harton of Warren, Joann Fowler of Monticello and Sandra Roam of Warren; 1 brother, Jesse Reddin of Warren; 2 sisters, Ruby Smith of Warren and Dorothy Hooper of Beebe; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Outlaw Cemetery in Sumpter with Rev. Billy Wilson officiating. Burial was by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wade Free, Jody Free, Terry Harton, Scott Harton, Bryan Roam, Steve Smith and Dante' Smith.

    3. Here's another Smith/Reddin obit: Fred William Smith, 77, of 116 Cook Street, Warren, died Monday, February 21, at the Bradley County Memorial Hospital. A native of Sumpter, Mr. Smith was born August 22, 1894. He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Smith and Mrs. Margaret Virginia Savage Smith. Mr. Smith was the husband of Mrs. Ruby Reddin Smith. He was a retired employee of Bradley Lumber Company and was a World War I Veteran. Mr. Smith was a member of the Penticostal Church of God. Other survivors besides his wife include three sons, Cecil Edward Smith of Nash, Texas, J. T. Smith of Fort Smith, and William L. Smith of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wilkins of Camden and Mrs. Judy Huddleston of Warren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Glover of Warren and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Wednesday February 23 at the Martin Chapel Methodist Church by Rev. Donald Nye and Rev. Carl Tate. Active pallbearers were Bill Hargis, R. P. Outlaw, Charlie Smith, Kloyce Harrison, Sammy Reep, Hoyt Savage. Feb. 23, 1972
