Charlotte Parham June 13, 1921-Feb. 8, 2008 A funeral service for Charlotte Parham, 86, of Granville, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Rick Rintamaa officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville. Mrs. Parham was born June 13, 1921, in Warren, Ark., to the late Robert Lee and Lillie Mae (Nolan) Davidson. She died Friday at Newark Health Care, the end of a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She retired from Denison University in 1983 after 19 years of service as secretary of the education department. A valedictorian of the Warren, Ark., high school class of 1940, she was an active volunteer with Licking Memorial Hospital and a member of the Millersburg OES. She and her husband, Leroy Parham, were members of Central Christian Church, Newark, where she was a part of the Miriam Circle, bell choir, the Chancel Choir and served as a deaconess. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy in 2007, and had been married to him for 63 years. She is survived by her sons, David (Nancy), of Atwood Lake, Robert (Carol), of Westerville, and Kevin, of Washington Crossing, Pa.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Wm. (Maxine) Smith, Mrs. Edward (Edith) Mills, Mrs. Pinkie (Carrie) Murphy and Mrs. Gerald (Jean) Simone. Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
