    3. I thought I had all the Bradley Co. Hickman obits, but I surely missed this one!! William A. "Bill" Hickman, 76 of Ingalls died on September 4 in a Warren hospital. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie Hickman; three sons, R. L. of Ola, C. O. of Mobile and W. A. Hickman, Jr., of Ingalls; a sister, Mrs. Eva Jarratt of Ingalls; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday at Piney Grove Church of God, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were J. B. Dean, Leo Sharp, W. B. Hargis, Clifton Ivey, Charlie Morgan, Alonzo Vickers, Bernard Wright and Dock Quimby. 12 Sep 1963 [ a few years back I was trying to find out if W. A.'s middle name was Autry or Andrew and I can't remember if this was ever settled. His son's obit stated his name was William Autry, but his WWI draft reg. states his name was William Andrew Hickman - I think this is how he signed his name.] --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. 3. For Jan re Hickman Following is copied from my data base. It is an excerpt from notes made of my conversation with the daughter of Romie Hickman, listed in the obituary below as R.L. of Ola: "I received a call from Donnie on the evening of August 13, 1997. She had been given my number by Judy Hickman Withers, and wanted any information available about her family. She corrected some errors, about her immediate family, that were in my database. Most notably, she said the correct name of her grandfather was William Andrew Hickman, Sr. I had been listing him as William Autry Hickman."
